Tainted Tiara

Most of the time, we get too busy thinking and imagining ourselves being with the ideal, perfectly imperfect "one" that we tend to have a vague sight of what's happening around us. We tend to be blinded by our heart's one and only desire that we overlook the people that actually matter.
And you keep on waiting.. and waiting.

Until one day, something will just hit you hardcore and you'd realize that the "ideal one" is not really "ideal" at all. Why? Because he doesn't exist! And he never did. Because he's just a mere creation of your imagination due to your heart's desperation for love. Because Prince Charming does not belong in real life and will remain in the world of fantasy for the rest of eternity. You'll get to realize that the knight in shining armor of your dreams isn't really a knight after all.. and he does not even wear an armor. And instead, he actually wears the shirt-shorts combo and lives not in a royal castle but in the house nearby.

He may not give you the kiss that would bring you back to life when you die in your glass coffin but it's just exactly the same way you can't put your hair down on your room window for him to clamber--either because it's not long enough to reach the ground or it's just simply dry and brittle for him to hold on to.

He may not be a (gay)vampire whose chest sparkles with glitters during daytime and have a rapid badass Volvo, but he may be able to put sparkle on your eyes and give you the roller coaster ride of your life.

Thus, stop hoping for that perfect guy cause you aren't perfect either. And no one's close to that. Okay, that sounded so harsh but, what I'm just trying to say is that there are times wherein we tend to get our head up high in the clouds that we forget the littlest things that unconsciously make an impact in our lives.

So stop squeezing yourself into that OMG-HE'S-SO-HOT-LET'S-GET-LOST-TONIGHT guy if he doesn't treat you right. Leave your tiara, bid farewell to your castle in the air and give importance to the people around you who actually care. I'm sure there's gotta be love out there somewhere. ;) (DAMNNN IT RHYMED!)
