Bouncing back from my nearly 3-month hiatus, here I am once more. B-)

It is evident from my last few posts how depressed and miserable I was after the car accident. Good thing, with the help of friends, family and food (of course) I was able to recuperate and get back on track. I'm so much different now from the person who wrote those.

I pretty much have heaps of thoughts that I hadn’t been able to put to writing ever since I took a break from my blog. And even if it’s late for this and no one actually cares (I’ll still carry on with this anyway, haha!), I would like to jot down the highlights of last year.

And although I’m not really good at remembering things to the tiniest details, I’ll try as much as I can to at least give you the gist of my 2010. 

2010

During the early parts of the year, I got to celebrate the New Year with a new household since I moved to my Aunts’ place in Paranaque. Moving in and adjusting wasn’t that easy, to think that I have only lived with my Grandma for almost the entire duration of my existence. It wasn’t so difficult nonetheless. It’s a good thing my cousin Keanu, is of the same age as I am hence we got to “click” right away. Well yes, even if he actually bullies me all the time.

I also attended Miko Ukena’s debut at Palms Country Club, which was by the way, the first debut I was able to attend to my entire life (This was also where the series of debuts started off). Then comes the love month. I did my regular duty which was helping out friends buy their gifts for their special someones. And although I didn’t have a date during Cupid’s day, I got to receive a little something from a guy friend who, I suppose, took pity on me. Haha! March kicked in and I have been more visible at inuman sessions than I used to be. Thought of something productive apart from getting my ass drunk and enrolled in a modelling class in Ortigas.

SUMMERTIME.

Went to Anilao and got to snorkel, like real, 20 ft. deep snorkeling for the first time and got stung by jellyfishes. I learned to play PUSOY. I also attended various model castings and did not make the cut because of not being skinny enough. Then ironically got through Fashion Week for Jan Garcia’s Avant Garde collection.

I also got to hit the shores in Calatagan with my girlies and got sun-fried. Did Armani for the final showcase.

June to August, as far as I can remember, were Cerealicious-Pusoy months. Me, Jhea and Aries had always been present then. And this was also when I got to master the art of shuffling cards. Crunchformers and Pirates of the Cadburyean became my staple companions, which is  accompanied by Japanese and pork siomai combo from Master Siomai.


And oh, with lots of chili and calamansi on it. *drools*

I did a couple of photo shoots with Klara, Quisha, Krizia and Jill.

 

Later on I dated an old friend, and for the longest time in history, I finally had a boyfriend, like real-official-whatever you may call it-boyfriend. I celebrated my 18th birthday on the 6th of November and exactly a week after, I got involved in a head on car crash. After being released from the hospital, I had to suffer the consequences of being on house arrest for some time. And as the Christmas air breezed through, Jhea celebrated her 18th birthday which seemed to be a collaboration of all debuts that year. I got to attend Simbang Gabi with friends. Then I went to Baguio with my family to spend the holidays.

2010 placed me on different states of euphoria and depression. Having that said, I'm still not regretting anything. Everything that had happened eventually became a part of who I am now. The troubles that tested my capacity only made me a much better person. I realized that even if you cant always have things the way you want them to be, you can do something and still make it work. I realized that I'm capable of so much more. I realized that its nothing but human nature to trip over hurdles and fall. Its just a matter of dusting off your shoulders and getting up once again. 

2010 was indeed a roller coaster ride. So far, 2011 has been kind and generous to me. Hoping for the bestx
