My friends and I associate a couple of words from the gay lingo into our conversations once in a while and its actually very amusing. Haha! I remember when we were in senior year in high school, we had this discussion in our Filipino class about gay lingo. Our prof was totally against it. He said it was an obliteration of both the Filipino and English language. Well I personally dont think it is not that much of a big deal really. I mean for as long as you know how to read, write and speak fluent Tagalog (or whatever local language you have) (although I'm not sure if there are actually gay lingo's derived from foreign languages) and English I dont think theres any problem with you having fun by making use of it. Besides I also am curious how this entire gay lingo thing started and its just unbelievable as to how it became so rampant in our modern day society in the Philippines. Even huge local celebrities proudly claim to be gayfluent i.e., Georgina Wilson, Solenn Heussaff, Anne Curtis and a lot lot more. Perhaps critics should cut other people some slack and not take things too seriously. Its just basically like thug or slang right? And all these modern "shiznits" and "swaggas" going on, how's it any different?
Im not really defensive... #justsayin. CHOS!
