Television Supervision

Heres whats got me hooked for the past few months!

Ghost Adventures

Its a series about um, well, ghost adventures. Lol duh. Las Vegas locals: Beefy Zak Bagans together with Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin set out on various "haunted" locations and document as much paranormal activities they could get.

I personally think it is way better than Ghost Hunters since GA aint being followed by a whole bunch of camera crews and whatnot during their "ghost hunts." Yep, just the 3 of them. Pluuus I really adore their team up. They're so far from being stereotypical gothic/drop dead serious ghost hunters. They are really funny and crazy!

Person of Interest

Now this one's what you can say, one heck of a badass series. Starring Michael Emerson (Lost) and Jim Caviezel (Intense! Passion of The Christ, The Count of Monte Cristo), this show is kinda similar with CSI because it also revolves on crimes. I shall quote its opening narration on every episode to give you a gist about its added twist:

"You are being watched. The government has a secret system--a machine that spies on you every hour of every day. I know because...I built it. I designed the machine to detect acts of terror but it sees everything...violent crimes involving ordinary people; people like you, crimes the government considered irrelevant. They wouldn't act so I decided I would, but I needed a partner--someone with the skills to intervene. Hunted by the authorities, we work in secret. You will never find us. But victim or perpetrator, if your number's up, we'll find you."

TOLD YOU IT WAS BADASS. B-)

On to the next...

Grimm

"The show's main character is a homicide detective who learns that he is a descendent of a group of hunters known as "Grimms," who fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Upon learning of his destiny, he has to protect every living soul from the sinister storybook characters that have infiltrated the real world."

Yet another crime/drama series I'm hooked to. Geez I hope I don't come off as creepy but I really am fascinated by crime and investigation, forensics and paranormal shiz. So anyway, Grimm is noted to be a "cop drama" with an out-of-this-world twist. Each episode is associated with or inspired by fictional characters by Grimm's Fairy Tales. Some of which released episodes contained dark twisted stories involving Rapunzel, The Three Little Pigs and the Pied Piper of Hamelin. I'm sure if you know your "fairy tails" good enough, you'll get hooked to this as much as I am now. Bonus feature: lead actor David Guintoli being a total cuteball.

Cake Boss & Cake Boss: The Next Great Baker

On to the lighter side of things, here's something delicious to watch. Most people like cake, right? Is that even a question? I love cakes! Tres leches, cup, cheese--almost all types! Hehehehe. I enjoy watching this show a lot! Every episode is an ultra feast for the eyes. "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro and his team makes and bakes extraordinary cakes from outer space. But no, not space cakes you pothead. Ok who am I talking to. So anyway when I say space, it really is out-of-this-world craziness. Imagine an actual (click on the link!->) 150-pound flushing toilet bowl cake with matching sound effects? That dude sure has some serious chaos going on in his mind but whatever, it works well for him!

The Mentalist

Yet another police crime investigation series, and again, with a twist! It follows the [fictional] story of Patrick Jane (played by the charming Simon Baker) who, as a paid consultant, uses unorthodox methods to help the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) put the pieces of puzzles together in homicide investigations. One word: MIND GAMES. Oh hehe, that was two.

How I Met Your Mother

Unless if you've been literally living under a rock, I don't see any reason as to why you haven't heard this show. No I don't claim to be a die-hard Barney Stinson fan and as a matter of fact, it was only recently when I got hooked to this. Yep, I was "un-cool" for that long. Not saying that I'm cool now, though. What the heck. Anyhoo, HIMYM first aired on 2005, during the times wherein I was too naive to understand the humor of sitcoms. I think I was way too focused on my anime back then... HAHA askdjankaksjdaks

I didn't place the shows I've listed down in any chronological order but I sure did save the best for last which is...

The Big Bang Theory!

I can't believe why I only got to see this last 2011! This show really drew me in from the first time I got to see it. Starring real life-looking geeks: Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar PLUS blonde cutie pie Kaley Cuoco, each character is being remarkably played and given justice by each of them. The show's concept is pure genius unlike any other and the dialogues are very well-thought of and is based on facts! The show actually has science consultants who co-write, review or revise the script to assure the actuality and to debunk any misinformation. The show is entirely jam-packed with right-off-the-hook sarcasm and intellectual jokes involving the application and relation of all branches of science to life. You'll feel smarter just by watching!

I WAAAANT!
